What is the online shopping site about?

We are a not-for-profit organization that caters to the needs of individuals and organizations. Currently we are providing our service to Canada and will be expanding into the United Stated soon. Everyone needs flowers sometime in there life, whether its for a birthday, anniversary, get well, thinking of you, sympathy, wedding, graduation, prom, etc ... This online shopping site is another way you can help out your local organization (school, churches, hospital). 10% of all sales will go to the organization you selected. If no selection is made the funds will be donated to our charity of choice - such as the Hospital for Sick kids or Princess Margaret Foundation.

How is this different from other online flower shops?

There is no difference. We have designers who will custom make your orders and deliver the gift selection to the
recipient's address at the particular date indicated. The only difference is now you can choose to have 10% of the sales
donated to a organization on the list.

What if the organization you want is not on the list?

If the organization is not on the look-up list, and you are determine to donate the funds there, we will send an email on
your behalf to advise the organization leader requesting if they would like to be added to our list. Joining is free!
Please provide an email address of the organization leader or any contact information so our customer service can contact him/her.
If the organization has registered we will have our webmaster update the look-up list. If organization is not interested,
we will send you an email of this and funds will be donated to our default organization (Hospital for Sick Kids).

How does a organization register and is there any cost?

Organization can go to this link "Join Now". There is no cost to the organization.
If the organization wishes to promote this way of raising funds, we also provide monthly flyers that can be distributed to members (students).
These flyers will have a link to our online shop and also be personalized with the organization's name and a promotional code (if requested).
The flyers are available between the 25th to the end of the month. Please place your order for flyers early for printing time and distrubtion.

What do we input in the code?

The code box is promotional code that the organization assign to us for there record keeping.
Please leave this blank if you don't have a code.
For example, if the school wants to keep track of how much each group or class is raising. Rm128 compare or Rm160.
Each organization code or promotion code could be used for different purposes.

When does donation goes out?

All donation will be calculated and distributed at the end of the month. A summary email of the donation will be sent to
the organization of the donation amount and sender name.

Are there any taxes on the order?

Since we are a not-for profit organization, no taxes have been deducted or added to an order.

Is there shipping cost?

Yes there is. We have standardize the shipping cost to $8.00 per order. This has already been inculded in the gift item price,
therefore the amout show is the total for the order. All orders are currently for delivery in Canada and the United States. If an order is for another
country, please call us toll free 1877-883-GIFT and a customer representative will help you out.

What is the guarantee of delivery?

All orders submitted by noon of the time zone for deliver will be guaranteed.
For example if delivery is for Toronto (Postal Code Starting with M), order must be made by 12:00pm Easter Standard time.
If delivery date is on Sunday/Holiday, guarantee does not apply unless the order is made by 5:00pm (Business Hours) the day before.
Please also be considerate of weather and road conditions. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time of day.
Substitution may be necessary to ensure your gift is delivered on the day you requested.

What is the status of an online order?

Pending - This status is set when an order is placed.
Processing - This status is set when a customer service is processing your order.
If there is a problem with your order this will be updated ot pending and an email will be sent to you.
Please reply back as soon as possible to ensure delivery is made when requested.
On Delivery - Order has been given to the driver and is in delivery mode.
Delivered - Order has been delivered. We will send an email with delivered date and time.
Please gives us until the end of the day to update, as there are times such as holidays or during business hours where the demand is high.
Donated - When an order has been delivered, on a quaterly basis donations are sent out, we will update your status to donated.
An email will be sent out at this time to inform you if you have joined our newsletter group.

What if there is a complaint of the quality of the gift?

All complaints must be made within 12 hours of the delivery by email. This way we can locate the problem and resolve
the situation as soon as possible. A customer representative will call you for futher information if the email is unclear.
All flowers that are sent out are fresh and guaranteed to last for 7 days, upon recipient's proper care and placement of the
fresh flowers.
Fruits and perishable items are guaranteed to have a shelf life of 4-7 days (depending on the seasonal fruit).
Please do not place flowers or perishable items close to heaters or raditors or windows.
There will be a care tag label include on gift items that require special care so that the recipeint will know what to do.

If delivery address is changed or an order has been cancelled?

If delivery address is changed or an order has been cancelled before the order status has changed to "on delivery" mode, no additional charge will be made.
If the order status is on "on delivery" status, and the driver attempted to deliver the item an $8.00 Deliver Charge will be applied even though the delivery was not made.
If a redelivery is requested we will charge an $8.00 delivery fee on top of your order. If the order is cancelled your amount will be refunded minus the delivery charge ($8.00).

Please ensure to provide a full address. If this is a business you must indicate name of company, floor/Ste number and phone number.
If this is a residence, please indicated apartment unit and enterance code if applicable.
Please always provide an alternative phone number, just in case the person is not home when the driver arrives at the address.

Do all order have to be made online?

No, but when you do call a customer representative an order will be created. Therefore if you have access to our website you can check the status of your order.

Inclusion of wine with gift delivery policy

All wine and alchoholic beverages are purchased on our customers behalf. No profit is made on the inclusion of these items in gift baskets or other gift orders. If a $10 bottle is selected, a $10 bottle will be included.
